Travel sessions have my heart. When I first started this here business, travel sessions were one big goal I wanted to work toward. I fully believe in finding adventure in the everyday, but there’s just something about adventures in new locales (is it my Sagittarius rising?). So when this sweet family reached out about a Cannon Beach family session, I almost lost my mind with excitement. Let’s relive it together, shall we!
There’s nothing better than running and spinning around on the beach. It was a mostly overcast day but the sun started to peek out during our session. That plus it being September meant not a ton of people near Haystack Rock!
Even when your little doesn’t necessarily want to snuggle, we’ll find ways to get those moments of connection. I asked this little girl to tell me how many toes her little sister had, which is always a go-to for me.
Literally, is there a more perfect location on the Oregon Coast than Cannon Beach?
This sweet family was spending the week on the coast with the grandparents and wanted to commemorate the week with a photo session. And honestly? I can’t endorse that enough. Document your memories! Get in the photos with your kids — and your parents!!
There’s such a lovely variety of spaces to have your photos on the Oregon Coast. But if I’m being honest? My favourite is still Cannon Beach. Sandy toes in the sand pics? Check. Tall grassy fields? Check. Incredible landmark? Big check.
And last, no session is complete without baby snuggles. And eating hydrangeas we found on the ground. They’re edible, right?
